THANK YOU from Gay Central Valley
Gay Central Valley would like to thank everyone for making our fundraiser, LIGHTS, at the North Tower Circle such a big success on Saturday, August 10th. We raised over $1,000 for Gay Central Valley and the Fresno LGBT Community Center. As a nonprofit, we rely on individual and group donations, as well as grants, to keep our doors open and our operation up and running.
Thanks to all the performers, GoGo Dancers, staff, security, raffle prize helpers, door people and all those who came out to enjoy the show and support our organization.
A big THANK YOU to Aguilar's Automotive who presented us with a generous check during the evening.
Thanks to The Bunker and everyone else who donated raffle prizes.
Special thanks go out to Josef Aguilar and Marc Rosario for running the show. This was a very unique and exciting show, where the club lights were turned off and the performers provided their own LIGHTS by way of glow in the dark colors and LED lights and more. Josef brought in a range of black lights to showcase all the hard work the performers went through to "light up the stage".
Josef Aguilar, who runs Orange Hat Productions , handles our quarterly fundraisers at the North Tower Circle and this LIGHTS idea came directly from him. He consistently pushes himself and the boundaries of performance art to bring more for the audience.
Thanks to North Tower Circle for allowing us to host quarterly fundraisers to support Gay Central Valley. Additional thanks to The Phoenix and The Red Lantern, who also regularly raise money for GCV and the LGBT Center.
