REVIEW: The Kinsey Sicks at Fresno State

The Kinsey Sicks
America’s Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet
By Leon Velasco
The Kinsey Sicks show at Fresno State was entitled “America’s Next Top Bachelor Housewife Celebrity Hoard Makeover Star Gone Wild”, and was followed with an educational question and answers panel.

I was there with Randall Stoll, Zoyer Zyndel and other members of Trans-E-Motion. Other organizations out in full force were Ryan Cazarez-Merrell of United Student Pride of Fresno State, Justin Kamimoto of My LGBT Plus, and Gay Straight Alliance Network of Fresno. Many people who attended the concert took advantage of the booths and the information that was readily available.

Though the performers were opening their debut performance of a new show to us in Fresno, it was nothing less than spectacular. The audience was treated to a wonderful evening of comedy filled with witty one liners, groaning puns of humor, and delirious song parodies. At one point of the show one lucky (or unlucky depending how you look at it) audience member was chosen to go up on stage and be a part of their comedy routine. Yes, the audience member was such a great sport and played along and made it that much more delightful… (Kudos Doug). Yes, yours truly was also inducted into the act; as were Randall Stoll, and Zoyer Zyndel, and a couple of other members of Trans-E-Motion in our row. It was fun and everyone one of us had a great time. The time just flew by. But there were many, who like me, walked out with sore stomachs and cheeks from all the laughing we did.

I would highly recommend going on YouTube and looking them up and there you will find what you missed out on. You can also find them on Facebook and we were all encouraged to friend them. You will get up to date info on where their next performance will be and what their new developments are. If you are looking for a wonderful comedy group to check out and have a great time I would suggest them time and time again.
